Plain water can be a tad bit boring so to give it a twist, here are a few quick refreshing drinks for your children that will not only refresh them but will also help them to beat the heat!

Lemonade-Refreshing Summer Drink

This is the first drink that comes to mind whenever we think of hot summers. It is cool, tasty, and beats the heat like no other drink. You could also help your child set up his own lemonade refreshment counter outside the house on a hot summer afternoon and teach them a bit about being independent. The recipe is quite simple. Squeeze a couple of lemons in a tumbler and add a table spoon of mint in it. Now add water and some ice cubes. Add a little bit of salt if necessary and you are ready to go! It is an amazing way to energize and fascinate your child as well.

Berry Blast- Healthy Fruit Smoothie

Smoothies are an amazing milk-based drink for your child. Making a smoothie is as simple as drinking one. All you need for the berry blast smoothie is a cup of mixed frozen berries, a cup of milk, a cup of flavored yogurt, and a sliced banana. Add all of them into a blender and mix properly. Once blended into a smooth mixture, empty it into a long glass and garnish it with a frozen berry. Add ice if necessary. Your berrylicious smoothie is now ready!

All these summer drinks are super easy to prepare, and kids will love them. Involve your child while making them, and it will be a fun activity for them. While these drinks are kid-friendly, you can also serve them at an adult gathering.
