How to do the sinus treatment?

  1. Take your treatment as directed by your physician or healthcare professional.
  2. Sit in a relaxed, upright position and hold the nebulizer upright.
  3. Gently position the nasal adapter into one nostril so the nostril is closed tightly. Position the soft nose plug into the other nostril. It will remain in place once inserted. A soft nose plug has a small opening to ensure defined resistance.
  4. Close off the lower airways. Tips for closing off the lower airways, see below.
  5. Switch the compressor on.
  6. The aerosol is automatically delivered into the nasal sinuses. During treatment do not breathe in and out through either the nose or mouth. Take short pauses when necessary and breathe normally through the nose or mouth.
  7. Give equal time to both nostrils: at least 2.5 minutes each side. The treatment is over when the nebulizer begins to sputter.

Caution: Do not block small openings in nose plug during treatment.

How to clean Pari Sinus Compressor Nebulizer Aerosol System?

  • Disconnect the air tube from the air intake on the bottom of the nebulizer cup and the vibration tube from the vibration connector.
  • If there is any moisture (condensation) in the tubing, let the Pari Sinus compressor run with only the tubing attached (to the compressor) for 2-3 minutes. The warm air from the Pari Sinus compressor will dry out the tubing. Alternatively, you can dry the tubing by removing it from the Pari Sinus compressor and hanging it up with the “ends down” to allow the moisture or condensation to drain out and evaporate. Use a clean damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the tubing.
  • Disassemble the Pari LC Sprint Sinus nebulizer parts as shown in Illustration 1.
  • Wash all Pari LC Sprint Sinus nebulizer parts with warm water and liquid dish soap. Do not wash the tubing.
  • Rinse the Pari LC Sprint Sinus nebulizer parts thoroughly with warm water and shake out water.
  • Air dry or hand dry Pari LC Sprint Sinus nebulizer parts on a clean, lint free cloth. Reassemble nebulizer when parts are dry, then store for future use.
  • You can also wash the Pari LC Sprint Sinus nebulizer parts in the top shelf of a dishwasher. Do not wash the tubing. Place the Pari LC Sprint Sinus nebulizer parts in a dishwasher basket and place the basket on the top rack of the dishwasher. Remove and dry parts when the dishwasher cycle is complete.
