Hoyer Classics Four-Point Universal Padded U-Sling is made of tough polyester and padded with closed-cell foam for extra comfort. It's easy to put on and take off thanks to the unique U-shape design, which also provides more comfort and reduces pressure points. The leg straps on this padded U sling can be unhooked for toileting and perineal access, and it fits all Hoyer 4 and 6-point cradles. The weight capacity of the 4-point padded u-sling is 600 pounds. This sling is designed to be used with Hoyer lifts.

Hoyer Universal Sling Wash Instructions


  • Machine wash at 185ºF
  • DO NOT wash with bleach
  • Bleach will damage the sling’s material and make it unsafe for use
  • Cool tumble dry, air dry or dry at very low temperature
  • DO NOT dry clean

Safety Precautions For Hoyer Padded U Sling


  • CHECK sling and stitching before each use. Using bleached, torn, cut, frayed or broken slings are unsafe and could result in serious injury or death to the patient
  • DO NOT alter slings. Destroy and discard worn slings
  • NEVER leave a patient unattended
  • DO NOT exceed the rated capacity of the sling or lift
  • DO NOT attempt to re-position a patient by pulling on the sling loops.
