Conmed Bipolar forceps are used in neurosurgical, ophthalmic, plastic, and reconstructive surgical procedures to grasp, manipulate, and coagulate (control bleeding) selected tissue using a high-frequency electric current. The electric current alternates between the two tips, shortening the current's path and resulting in a precise, controlled therapeutic effect. These forceps are provided in a non-sterile condition. The maximum voltage should not exceed the 300V peak.
