• Operation:
  - The CD boom box requires D" batteries (not included) to operate. Use alkaline batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply lower voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix old and new batteries together or different brands or types together
  - Install the batteries, with careful attention to the battery polarity. Be sure the + and - poles are facing in the correct directions as shown near the battery compartment
• Note:
  - Do not mix new batteries with old ones
  - Remove the batteries when you do not plan to use the unit for a month or more
  - Only connect one switch to the CD Boom Box. Connecting 2 switches will disable the CD Boom Box
  - Due to switch adaptation the use of an AC power cord has been disabled for safety reasons. This unit will only work with batteries
  - The AM antenna is built in and directional. Turn the unit to get the best reception. For FM, extend the antenna located on the back of the unit and turn it to get the best reception
  - If a CD skips it may need cleaning. Wipe off any fingerprints with a soft cloth
  - Do not get wet
