How to operate GF Bariatric Trapeze?

How to set-up Graham Field Trapeze?

1. Use screwdriver to remove the screw at lower right, at top end of trapeze arm.
2. Slide bracket onto trapeze arm with chains downward
3. Adjust bracket to desired position; use the T-screw on top of the bracket to tighten it. Ensure bracket is secure.
4. Reinstall screw at top end of trapeze arm; use screwdriver to tighten.
5. Assemble four 3/8" x 1 1/8" hex bolts, lock washers, and flat washers from the hardware bag as shown in Assemble Bolts, Washers at upper right.
6. Align the trapeze arm holes with the trapeze post insert threaded holes and slide the arm over the insert
7. Install the four bolts and washers in the trapeze arm, finger tight, as shown in Assemble Trapeze Arm to Post.
8. Align the outer surfaces of the trapeze arm and trapeze post and tighten all eight bolts securely.

Trapeze Operation

• Before use, ensure that trapeze is correctly and securely assembled and that all clamps are tight
• Bariatric Trapeze is intended to be used only as an assistive device - that is, to enable patients to more easily and safely reposition themselves. It is not intended to bear entire body weight
   

Maintenance And cleaning of Bariatric Trapeze

• During use, ensure trapeze components are securely fastened at all times. 
• Cleaning: Use a soft cloth, dampened with water and a mild NON-ABRASIVE detergent (household cleaner, soapy water, or hospital grade disinfectant), to clean the trapeze.
   

Warnings: 

• Read and understand these instructions before installing or using the 2940B/2960B Bariatric Trapeze. Ensure that the Bariatric Trapeze is installed as described in the following paragraphs before use. If the Bariatric Trapeze is not properly installed, personal injury and/or property damage could result.
• The fixed trapeze when used in conjunction with a bed can assist an individual weighing up to 450lbs. 
• The fixed trapeze is designed to provide support, increase stability, and assist the user when repositioning himself/herself in bed. The fixed trapeze is not designed, however, to support the total body weight of an individual. Use it for assistance only.
• Do not use this product without proper instruction from a healthcare professional.
