Myalgia or muscle pain is a common complaint that is most commonly related to overuse or muscle injury from unaccustomed exercise or work.

Myalgia may result from infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases, parasitosis, joint pain (arthralgia), fever, or general ill feeling (malaise).
