Skil-Care Classic Vinyl Bed Rail Pads serve two purposes. They prevent bruising from direct patient contact with the metal bed rails and keep patients' arms and legs from becoming entrapped within the side rail bars. They form a soft bed rail guard to protect against injuries. The Rail Pads are taller for added protection. You can choose between 1 inch and 2 inch thick pads, as well as a Half-Size Bed Rail Pad for shorter rails. These rail guards attach to the rails with Velcro, making it simple to reposition the bed rail covers to meet the changing needs of patients. The vinyl cover on these side rail pads makes wiping and cleaning a breeze.
