What is a Vertical Platform in Harmar Power Chair Lift?
A vertical platform lift (VPL) can be used to transport a scooter, power chair, or wheel chair vertically up a distance as little as 2 feet to as much as fourteen feet. A VPL can be used to move a mobility device and its user from ground level to an elevated porch, deck, or second level. A VPL has a much smaller footprint than a ramp which would require a gradual slope and much longer space.
Can the Harmar Lift be plugged into the existing wiring on the vehicle?
No, Harmar lifts must be powered by the supplied electrical harness. The harness has full-length leads that attach directly to the battery.
