Harmar AL055 Economy Lift Maintainence

  • Check for paint chips and touch up and bare metal with a good gloss black enamel or lacquer to inhibit rust. This may be necessary more frequently when subjected to salt air or road salt.
  • Always check the lifting strap before each use. If any wear or damage in noticed do not use the lift contact the installer for repair. Failure to do so will result severe injury or damage.
  • Hand control units should be properly stored inside the vehicle whenever possible. If lift is installed in the back of a pick-up truck, it is recommended to un-plug the control in between uses, and storing in the cab. Exposure to weather is ok, but rain flooding the truck bed, and the hand controller being submerged in water, could cause the controller to fail.
  • It is recommended that dealers schedule a preventative maintenance inspection at least once a year on motors, lift frame, wiring harnesses, and all moving parts of the lift.

My  husband uses an EZ Lite Cruiser Standard version.  We have a 2012 Honda Pilot.
Will the AL055 be compatible.  The EZ Lite weights about 45 lbs.  Thanks

Thank you for the reply to my question about my PT Cruiser.  Unfortunately, I do not have a railer hitch, and can not afford to install one or afford a fancy lift as suggested.  If this fits into a trunk, why won't it fit the Cruiser?  Please explain why it   will not work, and what other options I have that are affordable.

This application will not work because the lift cannot be mounted inside the vehicle. The floor where the lift will be mounted is a false floor and will not accept any lifts. Also, the hatch on the vehicle is sloped and will not close with the lift inside the vehicle. Thank you for contacting.

Hello, will this item work in a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox?

Thank you for reaching out to us. The Chevy Equinox is like the majority of SUVs and has false flooring inside for storage. It does not allow for inside mounting lifts due to the flooring tearing up.

  1. Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of the receipt of your order. Returns are not accepted after 30 days.
  2. Items (including parts and accessories) must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition in its original packaging.

How do I receive a return authorization number?
