Terrible experience

The product is flimsy and does not provide enough support to go up or down the steps . Rather is extremely dangerous and might cause the elderly to fall ._x000D_
I decided to return it and that was a very complicated process also !_x000D_
After numerous emails and phone calls I finally received an â Authorization Return number â which is in addition to the shipment label . This took more than two weeks . Then another 7-10 days to receive the credit which by the way was almost 50% of the price I paid !!_x000D_
20% stocking fee plus the price for the shipping label which still did not add up .._x000D_
From a $ 98 product I only received $ 54 back after all this emails and aggravation!
not at all useful

I don't think there are a lot of debilitated people who could get used to using this item, as it is so counter-intuitive and awkward. A fit person could certainly fly up a staircase with ease, but for the handicapped, no. You place your foot on the device and then what? Answer: you clutch for some railing to pull yourself up onto the next actual stair step. But if there is a railing then most enfeebled folks would MUCH prefer to simply grasp that railing with BOTH hands and get up the stairs that way. I bought this unit for my wife at her insistence but I was very skeptical, and sure enough it went back. Sorry for being so brutally frank.

I live in a home with a set of steep stairs which are not all the same height. It had become more difficult to walk up and down the steps safely over time. After 2 falls, I looked for solutions. The EZ Step Stair Climbing Cane is it! It helps with balance and the stretch to the taller steps.
