Alcohol test machine can be used both for professional and personal purposes. How to use Alcohol Detector?

  • Take a alcohol level detector and attach a mouthpiece to it.
  • Switch on the power button.
  • Wait till “blow” is displayed on the screen. This warms up the unit to the optimal test conditions.
  • For around 4 seconds, keep on blowing in the mouthpiece. Most models will produce a beep sound when you will start blowing. Do not stop blowing until the beep sound stops.
  • Try not to blow any saliva, smoke or other contaminants into the mouthpiece because this can damage the sensor.
  • Wait for a few seconds to allow the alcohol detector to analyze your breath.
  • Result will be shown to you in around 15 seconds. This time varies from model to model and manufacturer to manufacturer.
  • Turn off the breathalyzer when you are done with the test. Some may automatically shut off if not used for two minutes.
