How should Salter Labs O2 Tubing be used?

Using vibrant, colored tapes will make this task simple; just apply the tapes at equal intervals, and you're ready to go.
Just loop the tubing around the handle for active individuals who utilize a walker or cane.
If they don't use any walking aids, other active oxygen treatment users can fall back on wrapping the access tube around the wrist of their non-dominant hand (just make sure the loops aren't too tight).
For bed-ridden patients, tubing can be looped around the bed rails or gently placed by the side of their pillow.

Does the length of the medical oxygen tube matter?

The length of the nasal oxygen cannula tubing depends on the preferences and lifestyles of users. A bedridden patient will require enough length to connect him/her with the source of supply. An active patient using concentrators will require enough length to allow them to move around while staying connected to the oxygen machine. A highly active user who carries portable O2 concentrators or portable oxygen tanks will require minimal length to avoid tripping over them.
