Medline Optilock Non-Adhesive Wound Dressing has a super-absorbent polymer core that absorbs moderate to heavy exudates and locks in drainage even under compression. Optilock Dressing allows for gentle removal and protects the skin from maceration. Non-adherent wound contact layer prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound or peri-wound skin. Optilock adjusts absorption to the amount of drainage.

Why choose Optilock Dressing?

  • Efficient and versatile dressing can handle large quantities of fluid.
  • Minimal drainage while delivering optimal performance
  • Protects skin from maceration that prevents the skin from healing properly
  • Nonadherent wound contact layer for easy removal

Optilock Non-Adhesive Wound Dressing Features

Optilock Design Features

  1. Dispersion Layer: Evenly distributes and then quickly transfers the exudate into the superabsorbent core.
  2. Super Absorbent Core: Optilock Non-Adherent Dressing absorbs large amount of exudate, which is then converted into gel and locked away from the wound.
  3. Blue Protective Backing: Helps protect clothing and sheets.

Optilock Design

How Optilock Wound Dressing Works?

  • Absorbs - Super absorbent polymer core efficiently absorbs high volumes of exudate. Gently absorbs exudate, even for the most heavily draining wounds
  • Locks - Inside the core, exudate is converted into a gel that is kept firmly away from the wound, even under compression. Gently protects against maceration, including the periwound skin
  • Adjusts - Continually adapt the absorption level to the amount of wound drainage. Gently provides an optimal moist wound healing environment
  • Protects - Non-adherent wound contact layer prevents the Medline Optilock Dressing from sticking to the wound or periwound skin. Gently releases from the wound during dressing changes
