  1. Clean your skin with lukewarm water. Pat dry. 
  2. Remove half of the backing paper from the barrier strip and apply to your skin. 
  3. Let the strip overlap the barrier edge at least half an inch. 
  4. Remove the remaining backing paper and smoothen the edges with your hands for 30 seconds.
