The Long Scrub Sponges are intended to assist people with limited or decreased mobility in bathing more independently. To exfoliate the skin, the loofah sponge has a synthetic "loofah" on one side and a polyfoam sponge on the other. The soft foam sponges are treated with an antibacterial agent to inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria, thereby extending the sponge's life.
