The Sage PrimaFit External Urine Management System is a urine management solution for female patients that is designed to be used without insertion. It is ideal for female patients dealing with urinary incontinence or reduced mobility, especially during hospital or clinical care.
This product helps in keeping the skin dry by absorbing and diverting urine away from the body.
With a secure adhesive pad and anatomical design, the Sage PrimaFit External Urine Management System supports consistent positioning and comfort. It can also serve as an alternative to pads, diapers, and, in some cases, indwelling catheters.

Sage PrimaFit External Urine Management System for females acts as a transition from indwelling catheters to independent continence. PrimaFit is designed to address the factors required to effectively manage urinary incontinence, i.e., fit, securement, and performance.

Sage PrimaFit External Pad Benefits

  • Flex-Fit Core contours to patient's anatomy and maintains shape for the duration of use
  • Alternative to incontinence pads & diapers, which can lead to skin breakdown and incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD).
  • In some cases, PrimaFit may even replace an indwelling catheter, which is the #1 risk factor for CAUTI.

What to buy with PrimaFit External Female Urinary Catheter?

How does PrimaFit Work?

Primafit is an innovative external urine management system designed to provide a comfortable, non-invasive solution for female patients dealing with urinary incontinence or limited mobility. It helps to manage urinary output while reducing the risk of catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs). Primafit is placed externally against the perineal area, where it effectively absorbs and diverts urine into a collection device, keeping the patient dry and comfortable. This device is commonly used in hospitals and long-term care facilities, offering a safer and more hygienic alternative to indwelling catheters. Primafit’s design ensures a gentle fit, reducing skin irritation and the risk of infection, making it an excellent option for improving patient care and hygiene in clinical settings.
