It is a multilayer dressing with soft silicone adhesive that sticks to the surrounding skin to prevent any secondary damage to the wound bed. It offers a moist healing environment to the wound and the outermost layer of the sacral foam dressing is made of breathable polyurethane film that prevents contamination and allows oxygen and water vapor transmission.
