Medline Super Absorbent Sterile Abdominal Pads

Brand/Manufacturer: MEDLINE INDUSTRIES
Authorized Retailer Badge

Medline Super Absorbent Abdominal Pads are made up of a soft non-woven outer layer that quickly wicks fluid to a cellulose center. This thick layer of cellulose is proven to quickly absorb and disperse the fluid laterally to prevent pooling. Hydrophobic back impedes strike-through and all of the edges are sealed to prevent linting. Abdominal Pads feature extra absorbency and wicking for heavily draining wounds. They are latex-free.

Are these pads non stick?
Teddy - 10/10/2015 11:28:23 PM
answer image
Medline ABD pads are not considered non-stick (non-adherent). They’re designed for absorption. Medline non-adherent pads are designed not to stick to wounds, but don’t have nearly the absorbing capacity as our ABD pads. Hope that helps.

Often referred to as abdominal pads, ABD pads are also known as trauma pads. The ABD stands for "Army Battle Dressing" and is used when high absorbency is required to handle heavy draining wounds or large wounds.
