Optifoam Gentle Foam Wound Dressing

Layers Of Optifoam Gentle:

Layers Of Optifoam Gentle

  1. Highly breathable film works as a secure waterproof barrier to bacteria
  2. Super absorbent layer absorbs and retains exudate in the dressing, minimizing the risk of maceration
  3. Transfer layer between the super absorbent layer and wicking foam layer ensures that exudate is transferred to the super absorbent layer as efficiently as possible
  4. Foam layer initiates vertical absorption of exudate away from the wound bed into the transfer and super absorbent layers, thereby minimizing the pooling of exudate at the wound face of absorbent dressing
  5. Silicone adhesive minimizes trauma to the wound and helps reduce pain upon wear or removal
