    - Fat: The fat content of 3232 A mixed with 59gm added carbohydrate per quart is 35% of total calories. With no added carbohydrate, the fat content of 3232 A is 55% of total calories. The fat blend is 85% MCT oil and 15% corn oil to address potential fat malabsorption.
    - Protein: Protein provides 11% of total calories when 3232 A is mixed with 59 g added carbohydrate per quart. With no added carbohydrate, the protein content is 18% of total calories. The hypoallergenic protein source is extensively hydrolyzed casein that is supplemented with three amino acids—L–cystine, L–tyrosine, and L–tryptophan—to provide an appropriate balance of amino acids to the infant. The protein source provides a high percentage of free amino acids with the remainder as small peptides. The protein efficiency ratio (PER) for 3232 A is equal to or greater than the PER for casein. Thus, the protein in 3232 A is of very high quality.
    - Carbohydrate: Carbohydrate provides 54% of total calories when 3232 A is mixed with 59 g added carbohydrate per quart. With no added carbohydrate, the carbohydrate content is 27% of total calories. The carbohydrate source in unprepared 3232 A is modified tapioca starch, which serves as a stabilizer.     - Modified tapioca starch (35%), medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) oil ( 28%), casein hydrolysate (from milk) (27%), corn oil (5%), and less than 2%: vitamin A palmitate, vitamin D3, vitamin E acetate, vitamin K, thiamin hydrochloride, riboflavin, vitamin B6 hydrochloride, vitamin B12, niacinamide, folic acid, calcium pantothenate, biotin, sodium ascorbate, choline chloride, inositol, calcium citrate, calcium hydroxide, calcium phosphate, magnesium oxide, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, cupric sulfate, sodium chloride, sodium iodide, potassium citrate, potassium phosphate, soy lecithin, L–cystine, L–tyrosine, L–tryptophan, taurine, L–carnitine.

  • Directions for use:
    - Parents should consult their child;s doctor for instructions for the correct amounts of water and powder
    - Each scoop (unpacked and leveled) delivers approximately 4.5gm of powder
    - Pour desired amount of water into the bottle
    - Add powder, cap and shake vigorously
    - Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before preparing formula
    - Add 81gm of powder (packed, level 1/2 cup) and 59gm of the desired carbohydrate to 4fl oz (120ml) of water in a clean bottle or container
    - Mix well with fork or mixer until a smooth paste is formed
    - Add additional water to make one quart
    - Initial feedings of 3232A may need to contain less than the full 59gm of carbohydrate recommended or the formula may need to be diluted to 10 Calories/fl oz or less and gradually increased to 20 Calories/fl oz.
