Graham-Field Lumex Bariatric Easy Lift Patient Lifting System features a six-point spreader bar with 360-degree rotation which tilts for extra comfort and safety, and uses Lumex six-point, four-point slings or two-point slings. It comes with unique, ergonomic foot pedal leg opening, and large, easy to grip handles for easy maneuvering. This Patient Lifting System is made of heavy-gauge steel.

Assembling Lumex Patient Lift

  1. Remove the nuts and bolts from top and bottom of mast.
  2. With one hand on the mast and another on the boom, pull the mast to an upright position.
  3. Reinstall the bolts in the holes at bottom of mast and hand tighten them.
  4. Attach boom to mast and hand tighten bolt and nut.
  5. Attach the L-shaped arms to the back of the knee pad.
  6. Attach knee pad assembly to the mast.
  7. Place the control box in the bracket.
  8. Insert the actuator plug into the control box.
  9. Insert the pendant plug into the control box.
  10. Tighten all nuts

Charging The Batteries of Patient Lift

  1. Ensure the control box power switch is ON (i.e., the red button is up).
  2. Insert the charger plug into the battery box charging socket (the top slot).
  3. Insert the other charger plug into the power supply.
  4. All LED indicator lights should be ON during charging.
  5. When one green LED indicator light illuminates, the batteries require approximately two to three hours to be fully charged.
  6. When only the red LED indicator light illuminates, the batteries require approximately seven to nine hours to be fully charged.
  7. NOTICE: Do not charge the batteries for more than twelve hours.
  8. Unplug the charger FIRST before using the lift.
  9. Info: The lift will not operate while the batteries are charging.
             The lift will not operate while the red reset button is down.
  10. Replace the batteries when frequent charging is required.

Graham Field Power Lift Operating Instructions

  1. Turn on the power by turning the Red Reset Button clockwise.
  2. Press the pendant UP or DOWN button once.
  3. After the battery indicator lights de-illuminate, push the pendant up button and down button to ensure the lift is operating correctly.
  4. Position the lift base around or under the patient.
  5. Widen the base.

How to position Patient on Lift Sling?

  1. Position the patient in a sitting position.
  2. Slide the sling down patient’s back to lumbar position.
  3. Draw the shoulder straps to the front of the patient close to the chest.
  4. Draw the waist belt around patient’s waist and press hook and loop sections together to fasten.
  5. Place shoulder straps inside the positioning loop.
  6. Attach the shoulder straps to the hooks.

  1. Fit sling as described above.
  2. Push lift towards patient. Open the base of the lift. Apply the brakes on both rear casters.
  3. Position patient’s feet on the foot platform and knees against the knee pad.
  4. Attach the sling straps to the hooks.
  5. Have the patient’s hands holding the handles. For patients who cannot hold the handles, have them hold their arms around the chest.
  6. Press the “UP” button on the hand pendant.
  7. Before the patient’s body is lifted from the bed, stop and make sure the sling is secured and patient’s knees are against the knee pad.
  8. The patient should be comfortable with the pressure under the arms. If not, adjust the sling and try another loop option to release pressure.
  9. Press the “UP” button until the patient’s body has completely left the bed.
  10. Transfer to another object can be done at this position without the patient attending a full standing position.
  11. Release the brakes, close the base, and pull the lift away from the bed.
  12. Lower the patient to the object intended.
  13. To lift patient in a standing position, continue to lift until the patient’s knees are locked in a standing position.
  14. At the standing position, patient’s knees may move away from the knee pad.
  15. Close the base, and pull the lift away from the bed.
  16. Lower the patient to the object intended.
  17. Reverse the above procedures when lowering the patient to the bed

  2. Push lift towards patient. Open the base of the lift to go around the chair. Apply the brakes on both rear casters.

What is HPFY’s return policy?

  1. Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of the receipt of your order. Returns are not accepted after 30 days.
  2. Items (including parts and accessories) must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition in its original packaging.
  3. Before returning any product, the buyer must obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) from a customer service representative. With your RA# you will receive a prepaid return shipping label.
  4. Orders returned without obtaining an RA# will be entitled to receive only "In-Store Credit" that can be used towards future purchases.
  5. Return orders are subject to a 20% restocking fees.
  6. All custom orders and hygienic items are non-returnable. Refer to the “Non-Returnable Items” section for further details.
  7. Returns will be reviewed and inspected before issuing credit. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for processing. The credit will be applied to your original method of payment.
  8. If the return is the result of a defective product or shipping error, we will refund the entire purchase amount and return shipping costs.

Which products are Non-Returnable?

Due to the hygienic nature of some items, they are non-returnable. The items listed below are non-returnable:

  3. Anything opened, used, or tried on.
  4. All customized items.
  5. Besides these, items that have the “non-returnable” phrase on the website.

We reserve the right to make adjustments due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or typographical errors in advertisements. Images on the site may not always reflect the actual product. Footrests or leg-rests are not included with wheelchairs unless specified.

How do I receive a return authorization number?

You can submit a return request by logging into your account. You will receive the Return Authorization Number (RA#) details in the email within 2-3 business days.

  • Click on “return order”
  • Fill out the return form and Submit it

If you do not have an email address, we will make other accommodations for RA# Details. Write the RA# on your label affixed to your package prior to shipment.

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Please allow 3 to 4 weeks to process the returns. Once the item is received, and inspected, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Is there any Restocking Fees?

  1. 20% restocking fees will be applied.
  2. Outbound shipping cost is non-refundable.
  3. For orders that qualified for free shipping, $8.99 will be deducted from the refund if the product is returned.
