Drive Padded U-Sling With Head Support is made up of durable polyester material with a solid design. It comes with closed-cell foam padding for added comfort with head support. It can be easily installed and removed and is adaptable to a wide range of shapes, sizes, and needs.

  • Transfer from Bed:
    - If a patient needs support and is in a hospital bed, raise side rails and have patient hold onto rails.
    - Raise the level of the bed to the highest position before moving the patient onto the sling.
    Note: This will reduce strain on the caregivers lower back. Also, when the patient is ready to be lifted, lower the side rails and the level of the bed, decreasing the distance you have to elevate the patient.
    - Put the folded sling behind patients back. Roll patient onto the back.
    - Pull the leg loops forward and under the thighs.
    - Cross the loops.
    - Roll the base of the patient lift as far under the bed as possible, placing the cradle over the patient.
    - Take caution not to lower the frame onto the patient.
    - Before lifting patient be sure the lifter arm is centered over the patient. Remeber, when lifting patient, the parking brake should NOT be used.
    - When both sides of the sling are attached to their respective side of the cradle, raise the patient slowly.
    - If the patient is in a hospital bed, it will help to raise the head of bed. Repositioning of the patient may be needed to ensure that a safe sitting position is attained as the patient is raised. 5. Raise patient until buttocks are just above the mattress. The self-leveling cradle will bring the patient into sitting position.
    - Hold steering handles and move lifter away from the bed. Move the patient into position over the seat of a locked wheelchair.
    - Lower patient into a wheelchair or other transport device into the transport position.
  • Warning:
    - Beware of obstruction under the bed that can block wheels and cause it to tip over.
  • Washing Instructions
    Note:
    Remove Bars before washing sling.
    - Machine Wash in warm or cold water.
    - Maximum washing temperature 185°F (85°C).
    - Wash at 160°F (71°C) for 3 minutes.
    - Wash at 145°F (63°C) for 10 minutes.
    - Air Dry, or Tumble Dry at cool or very low temperature.
    - Do NOT Tumble Dry at high temperature.
    - Use Non-Enzyme detergent.
    - Do not use bleach
    - Do not wash with other colors.

What is HPFY’s return policy?

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We stand behind our products.   1. Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of the receipt of your order. Returns are not accepted after 30 days.
  2. Items (including parts and accessories) must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition in its original packaging.
  3. Before returning any product, the buyer must obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) from a customer service representative. With your RA# you will receive a prepaid return shipping label.
  4. Orders returned without obtaining an RA# will be entitled to receive only "In-Store Credit" that can be used towards future purchases.
  5. Return orders are subject to a 20% restocking fees.
  6. All custom orders and hygienic items are non-returnable. Refer to the “Non-Returnable Items” section for further details.

Which products are Non-Returnable?

How do I receive a return authorization number?

You can submit a return request by logging into your account. You will receive the Return Authorization Number (RA#) details in the email within 2-3 business days.

  • Fill out the return form and Submit it

If you do not have an email address, we will make other accommodations for RA# Details. Write the RA# on your label affixed to your package prior to shipment.

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Please allow 3 to 4 weeks to process the returns. Once the item is received, and inspected, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Is there any Restocking Fees?

  1. 20% restocking fees will be applied.
  2. Outbound shipping cost is non-refundable.
  3. For orders that qualified for free shipping, $8.99 will be deducted from the refund if the product is returned.
