How to use Coloplast InterDry Moisture Wicking Fabric?

Assess the affected area: Gently separate the skin fold to assess the affected area before cleansing.
Prepare the affected area: Gently cleanse the skin and pat the area dry. Do not rub, as this may further damage the skin.
Cut a piece of fabric to fit the affected area: Measure a piece that will allow a minimum of 5 cm to be exposed outside the skin fold. Cut off an appropriate piece of fabric with a clean pair of scissors.
Place Interdry in the skin fold: Place a single layer of fabric in the skin fold, ensuring that the edge of the fabric is aligned with the base of the skin fold. Gently smooth the fabric over the skin to ensure an even surface. Leave at least 5 cm of fabric exposed outside the skin fold to help moisture evaporate.
Each piece can be used for a maximum of 5 days. If removed within 5 days, it should not be reapplied but replaced.
To remove the fabric, gently separate the skin fold and lift away the fabric.

Note:

Assess the skin fold and affected skin.
Ensure that the area is completely dry.
Do not apply any other treatment.
Allow 5 cm of fabric to be exposed out of the skin fold.
Use the fabric in a single layer.
The fabric is for single use only.
The fabric has a wear time of up to 5 days.
If soiled, the fabric should not be disposed of or replaced.
The fabric may become moist or may change color during use.
