Dakin's Solution Half-Strength 0.25% Wound Cleanser is an antiseptic washing solution for infected wounds, non-minimally exuding wounds, therapeutic wounds, pressure injuries, minor injuries, and venous ulcers. It is used as an excessive fluid, cleaner, wet-to-moist dressing, wetting agent, and wound management by health care providers. The Dakin wound treatment is antimicrobial, preventing the growth of fungi, yeast, mould, bacteria, and viruses.
