Heat Therapy

How to microwave the Heat Gel Pack?

• Place room temperature gel pack in the microwave for 55 seconds at full power (750 watts). Remove the pack from the microwave with caution.
• Knead pack to distribute heat evenly.
• For additional heat, reheat the pack in the microwave for 10 seconds.
• Do not exceed 65 seconds of total heating time.
• Place in the sleeve or wrap with a towel and apply to the desired area for 30 minutes.
• Remove and leave the area uncovered for 60 minutes.
• Microwave ovens vary in wattage output.
• Some may heat at a faster or slower rate.

How to boil The Hot Pack?

• Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Remove water from the heat and immerse room temperature gel pack.
• After 40 seconds use tongs to remove the gel pack from water.
• Knead pack to distribute heat evenly.
• Place in the sleeve or wrap with a towel and apply to the desired area for 30 minutes.
• Remove and leave uncovered for 60 minutes.

Cold Therapy

• Place gel pack in freezer for a minimum of 2 hours.
• Remove the pack from the freezer.
• Place in the sleeve or wrap with a towel and apply to the desired area for 30 minutes.
• Remove and leave the area uncovered for 60 minutes.
