How to use Polar WrapOn Hip Pad?

  1. Discuss treatment Plan with your licensed health care practitioner and provide a complete medical history including any reactions to cold. Certain medical conditions make cold- induced injury more likely.
  2. When using Cold Therapy Follow instructions of your practitioner’s regarding the frequency and duration of cold application and breaks, proper temperature.
  3. Apply an insulation barrier between the Polar Pad and patient skin that provides complete coverage. Do not let any part of the Pad touch skin.
  4. If a sterile dressing has been applied to the treatment site that does not cover the skin under the pad completely, use an additional insulation barrier.
  5. The Pad alone is too cold to be applied directly to the skin.
  6. Apply the Polar Pad with the plastic channeled side towards the skin.
  7. Connect the Polar Pad couplings to the Breg Polar Care unit couplings.
  8. Follow the Polar Care Operating Instructions and Product Insert inside the pouch; both are axed to the unit.
  9. How to Apply Hip Pad?
  10. Inspect the skin under the Polar Pad as prescribed, typically every 1 to 2 hours.
  11. To end cold therapy, disconnect electrical power and press the two metal tabs on the hose coupling and gently remove the Polar Pad from your body.

Precautions to take while using Polar WrapOn Cold therapy Hip Pad

  • Do not wrap Polar pad so tightly as to restrict normal circulation, as this can cause injury.
  • Do not use the Polar Care if dressing, wrapping or casting over the Polar Pad prevents skin checks.
  • Stop using Cold therapy and contact your practitioner immediately if you experience any adverse reactions, such as: increased pain, burning, increased swelling, itching, blisters, increased redness, discoloration, welts, other changes in skin appearance, or any other reaction identified by your practitioner.

Will this hip. Pad work with polar Kodiak?

Unfortunately, Breg Polar WrapOn Hip Pad cannot be used with polar kodiak. Wrap on pads can only be used with Polar Care Glacier, Cube and Cub.

What is HPFY’s return policy?

  1. Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of the receipt of your order. Returns are not accepted after 30 days.
  2. Items (including parts and accessories) must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition in its original packaging.
  3. Before returning any product, the buyer must obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) from a customer service representative. With your RA# you will receive a prepaid return shipping label.
  4. Orders returned without obtaining an RA# will be entitled to receive only "In-Store Credit" that can be used towards future purchases.
  5. Return orders are subject to a 20% restocking fees.
  6. All custom orders and hygienic items are non-returnable. Refer to the “Non-Returnable Items” section for further details.

How do I receive a return authorization number?

How long does it take to receive a refund?
