Aspen CTO Spinal Brace combines highly effective motion restriction of the cervical and upper thoracic spine with a level of comfort that makes it well tolerated by patients. Substantially progressive motion restriction in going from a stand-alone cervical collar, to a two-post device, and then on to a four-post orthosis.   • Measuring for correct size:
    Use this guidelines to measure the patient for the correct size Aspen Collar.
    - Measure the chest circumference 1 inch below the tip of the Xiphoyd process.
    - For circumferences smaller then 39", trim the ends of the belt panels at the notch.
    - Attach the belt by aligning the keyhole over the aluminum rivet and pull to lock in place.
    - Do this on both sides.
  • Instructions For Fitting:
    - Supine:
      - Slide the CTO underneath the patient while compressing the mattress cover. Logroll the patient if needed.
      - Line up the control clamp to the center line on the chest and attach the Velcro loop.
    - Snap the shoulder straps into place and loosely tighten.
    - Bars may be bent to accommodate patient anatomy.
    Note: To relieve pressure at the front on the collar, bend bars away from the patient.
    - Use a phillips head screw driver to loosen screws to adjust the height of the bars.
    - Tighten the clamp after adjustment.
  • Warnings:
    - Aspen CTO can be altered to mirror changes in the patients condition. For supine patients where posterior support posts are desirable, a pillow may be used under one shoulder to minimize pressure caused by the posterior support post.
    - Be aware that excessive tightening of the shoulder straps will cause traction.
    - Do not use a full size screwdriver to tighten or adjust the support post clamps while the device is on the patient.
    - When advancing to a 4-post configuration, ensure that the post strap covers the support post.
    - For kyphotic patients or for others with postural abnormalities, it is possible to bend the support posts for a better fit.
    - To accomplish this, use a pair of bending irons or remove the posts from the clamp and bend using a vise to ensure that they remain symmetrical.
    - Be careful not to weaken the posts by bending them repeatedly or by bending them more than 45 degrees.

  5. Return orders are subject to a 20% restocking fees.

Which products are Non-Returnable?

Due to the hygienic nature of some items, they are non-returnable. The items listed below are non-returnable:

We reserve the right to make adjustments due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or typographical errors in advertisements. Images on the site may not always reflect the actual product. Footrests or leg-rests are not included with wheelchairs unless specified.

How do I receive a return authorization number?

You can submit a return request by logging into your account. You will receive the Return Authorization Number (RA#) details in the email within 2-3 business days.

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Please allow 3 to 4 weeks to process the returns. Once the item is received, and inspected, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Is there any Restocking Fees?

  2. Outbound shipping cost is non-refundable.
