THE KEYS TO HAPPINESS
When we smile, our brains release dopamine, the feel-good hormone. When you wake up in the morning, look at yourself in the mirror and smile! It’s a great way to begin the day.
Your body intuitively knows what you require, but you need to stop and listen. It’s like they tell you on an airplane, “in the event of an emergency, put your oxygen mask on first before assisting others.” You can’t help anyone else if you are not healthy and sound.
Music soothes more than the savage beast. Studies find music activates the part of the brain that produces happiness – the same parts activated by food or sex.
Maya Angelou once said, “People will forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” The people in our lives make us who we are, make them feel like they matter. A “good morning” text or baking a batch of cookies to share makes everyone feel good...especially you!
