How to use LoFric Sense Intermittent Catheter with Water Sachet?

• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after catheterizing
• Catheter Activation
  • Start by taking a package from the box
  • Squeeze on the package to release the sterile water solution inside the package
  • You can use the lower part of your palms to achieve enough pressure for this
  • Another option is to first fold the package and then press; this will concentrate the solution in a smaller area and reduce the pressure needed to release the water in salt solution
• Removing the catheter from the package
  • Peel open the opening label of the front of the package
  • The bottom part of the opening label grey in color to facilitates the opening of the package. If you find it difficult to get a grip on the opening of the label, there are a number of things you can do:
    • Try to fold the top of the package backward and slide your thumb up and underneath the opening label. This should help you to grip the label more easily.
    • Alternatively you can try by folding the side of the package. This should help you to get hold the corner of the tab more easily.
  • Pull the label all the way up
  • Peel the smaller adhesive tab of the package to hang the product
  • If you find it difficult to get to grip of the tab, try a folding side of the package. Attach the tab to any clean dry surface in easy reach.
  • To hang product and fix the opening label of front to the hanging tab in order to keep package open and the handle of the catheter

  • Remove the catheter from the package and catheterize

  • Fold the opening label and the top of the package all the way back
  • Hold the package of the level of the handle so the catheter does not fall out when you empty the water
  • Empty the water inside the catheter bag by tipping it over
  • Re-close the front label
  • Discard the package
