The Teleflex Sheridan CF Endotracheal Tube is constructed of thermosensitive PVC and features a close-fitting, low-pressure cuff for short-term surgical intubation. It is intended for easy intubation and has an opaque colour that improves visibility. If the bevelled end of the tube is obstructed by mucus or sealed by contact with the tracheal wall, the tube has a murphy eye to prevent tube obstruction, and it is sterile.
