Smith & Nephew Opsite Post-Op Visible Composite Dressing is a transparent film with a unique see-through absorbent pad. The highly breathable film is waterproof and bacteria-resistant, and the unique lattice structure foam pad enables regular wound assessment without the need to lift or remove the dressing. The unique and innovative design allows constant monitoring of the wound without the need to disrupt the healing process through unnecessary dressing changes.

  • Instruction for use:

    - Clean and thoroughly dry application area in accordance with normal procedures. It is easy to apply and remove. Once placed over the wound, the dressings unobtrusive design and low-allergy adhesive ensure the comfort of the patient
  • Step 1
    - Remove the dressing from the outer packaging. Peel away the white/orange backing papers marked 1
  • Step 2
    - Holding the non-adhesive tabs at the end of the dressing, carefully position the dressing over the designated area. Remove the backing paper completely
  • Step 3
    - Smooth the dressing into place, applying light pressure, especially around the edges and ensuring that the foam pad is not compressed
  • Step 4
    - Using the small tab, begin to gently peel off the top carrier marked 2. Smooth the dressing down. Ensure the patient is comfortable with the dressing
  • Removal
    - To remove the dressing, lightly hold the dressing in place while taking one corner of the dressing and lifting it and gently pulling the film parallel to the skin. Release and repeat the process
  • Precautions
    - Use only on dry skin prepared in accordance with normal procedures
    - Do not stack dressings, or allow the dressings to overlap
    - Periodically monitor the dressing and wound site to confirm that the dressing is securely attached, especially after showering, or if the dressing becomes wet. If the dressing comes off, apply a new dressing
    - As with all adhesive products, apply and remove carefully from sensitive or fragile skin
    - The dressing should not be used under compressive dressings or garments as blistering or transient bruising may appear on the skin under the foam lattice pad
    - Pressure applied to the dressing as a result of direct body weight may result in transient bruising or indentation markings on the skin in the pattern of the lattice foam pad
    - On removing the dressing slight patterning from the lattice foam pad may be visible on the skin. This is normal and should fade within a few hours

What is HPFY’s return policy?

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We stand behind our products. If the merchandise you received is defective or not what you expected it to be, and you wish to return the item, please submit a return request in the My Account section of our website, contact our Customer Service department at (866) 316-0162 / (203) 616-2850 or email us.

  1. Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of the receipt of your order. Returns are not accepted after 30 days.
  2. Items (including parts and accessories) must be returned in new, unused, and resalable condition in its original packaging.
  3. Before returning any product, the buyer must obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) from a customer service representative. With your RA# you will receive a prepaid return shipping label.
  4. Orders returned without obtaining an RA# will be entitled to receive only "In-Store Credit" that can be used towards future purchases.
  5. Return orders are subject to a 20% restocking fees.

How do I receive a return authorization number?

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Is there any Restocking Fees?

  2. Outbound shipping cost is non-refundable.
