• Easy to Use:
  Place the fall mat on the floor adjacent to the bed, aligning it alongside the bed. Assure that there arent any gaps between the bed and mat. The blue side of the mat with the logo faces up. In the event that the folding mat is used, undo the strap and unfold the mat prior to placing on the floor. After usage, when stored, the folding mat can be folded and stored at the foot of the bed. Note, that the tie-strap is provided that allows attachment to the bed.
   
• Note:
  - These fall mats significantly reduce the impact when a resident falls on them but there is no guarantee that no injury will result in a fall. Injury is dependent on height, body shape, direction of fall, angle point of body contact and patients health and strength
  - It is suggested that all staff members be-informed that a fall mat is in place to prevent tripping
  - Since the floor generally contains significant exposure to bacteria, it is strongly recommended that the folding mat be stored above the floor, on the head board and the non-folding mat be stored in an area not exposed to housekeeping when they wash the floors.
   
• Easy Care:
  - The Safe & Sound Fall Mat could be wiped clean with a spray and wipe cleanser. If disinfected, avoid using chlorine (bleach) chemicals.
