Skil-Care Universal Leg Geri Sleeves protects the residents legs against damage caused by friction and shearing in the bed and wheelchair. Leg geri sleeves feature breathable cotton-blend Lycra which protects against skin tears and prevent skin shear at the heels and calves. It is reusable and launderable and sized to provide a comfortable fit up to and including bariatric residents. They also protect I.V. and wound sites.

More Information

Application:
- Roll upper leg opening outwards until you pass the heel bend of the sleeve
- Slip upper leg opening over patients foot. Pull sleeve up until patients heel fits comfortably in the heel bend.
- Roll Geri-Sleeve over calf.
Important:
- Inspect skin regularly for tears, abrasions, infection, or other types of damages. Remove sleeve and replace with laundered sleeve according to facility policy.
Laundering:
- Geri-Sleeves may be machine washed at temperatures that do not exceed 180Â°F (82Â° C). Dry on low. Use bleach as directed on container.
