How to use Skil-Care Catheter Leg Strap?

  • Wrap tube holder band around patients leg or head. Cloth-backed side faces out. Band should be trimmed if there is more than a five-inch overlap. 
  • Secure band by pressing "hook" tab against "loop" cloth backing. 
  • Position tube at next to double ring. Bring "hook" material over tube and through open space in ring. Making certain that tube is snuggly secured, press "hook" material against "loop" cloth backing.


Caution: 

  • Do not wrap band so tightly as to impair circulation or cause patient discomfort.
