When not to use Strapping Materials?

• Not for use with severe edema
• Not for people who have an allergic reaction to neoprene or who have a tendency to develop dermatitis
• Not for use over open wounds and infected areas
• May not be for people with circulatory problems

How to use Sammon Preston Nylon Strapping Material?

• Neoprene has a core of rubber with nylon on one side and pile material on the other. Hook materials attach readily to neoprene, and straps of hook material can be sewn to the material to provide convenient fastening.
• Neoprene straps have self-adhesive hook material attached to one end.
• Cut the material with scissors as needed.
• For greater comfort, use talcum powder or cornstarch liberally while wearing neoprene.

Care & Cleaning for Sammons Preston Neoprene Strapping Material

• Wash frequently to remove body oils and other soil.
• Fasten any hook-and-loop closures. Hand wash in warm water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly. Do not wring. Dry at room temperature. Be sure the material is completely dry before reapplying it.
• Do not allow the self-adhesive portion of the straps to get wet.
• Do not use ointments or oils under the material.
• Do not dry clean or expose to heat or sunlight for extended periods of time.
• Store neoprene in a loose roll to prevent creases.
