How to apply SNS Ostomy Barrier underneath the appliance?

  • Prepare the skin and make sure it is clean and dry, using a Peri-Stoma Cleanser & Adhesive Remover wipe
  • Use a skin barrier wipe or spray to protect your skin and let it completely dry
  • Remove the white paper backing from the skin barrier arc
  • Place the skin barrier arc directly on the skin around the stoma
  • Use your fingertips to smooth and press the skin barrier arc onto the skin so the skin barrier arc and skin form a secure seal
  • Apply the ostomy appliance

How to apply Safe n Simple Ostomy Skin Barrier over the appliance?


  • Prepare the skin and make sure it is clean and dry, using a Peri-Stoma cleanser and adhesive remover wipe
  • Remove the white paper backing from the skin barrier arc
  • Place the skin barrier arc directly around the edges of the wafer or appliance forming a picture frame around the border of the wafer
