Contraindications:

• Not in the presence of acute shoulder fracture unless immobilized by a cast
• Not in the presence of acute shoulder dislocation and other stages of severe shoulder trauma unless prescribed and fitted by a healthcare professional
   

Precautions:

• If unusual swelling, skin discoloration or discomfort occurs, use should be discontinued and a healthcare professional consulted.
   

Care and Cleaning:

• Fasten hook-and-look closures.
• Machine wash in warm water.
• Air dry for longer wear.
• Be sure sling is thoroughly dry before reapplication.
