Rolyan MFC II Unilateral Shoulder Orthosis supports weak shoulder muscles and strained tendons or ligaments. It limits shoulder motion and maintains proper humerus positioning to allow healing. This orthosis is made of Lycra spandex for stretchy, wearable support that's ideal following sports injuries. It can be hand washed and air dried. It contains latex.

More Information

  • Precautions:
    - If unusual swelling, skin discoloration or discomfort occurs, use should be discontinued and a healthcare professional consulted
    - Be careful that the orthosis and straps are not so tight that they interfere with circulation
  • Care and cleaning:
    - Fasten hook-and-loop closures. Hand wash with lukewarm water and mild soap. Wrap in towel to remove excess moisture and air dry. Be sure orthosis is thoroughly dry before reapplication
  • Application:
    -     With all fasteners open, place arm cuff over affected shoulder so the D-ring lies on the chest
    - Wrap arm cuff snugly around arm and fasten hook-and-loop closure. Position cuff as far distal as possible without inhibiting flexion and extension of elbow
    - Pull the anterior shoulder strap over the shoulder and fasten to the posterior flap on the arm cuff
    - Pull long strap across back, under unaffected arm, and across chest. Thread strap through D-ring and secure hook-and-loop fastener. Do not secure strap to axillary pad
    - Secure short scapular control strap to long back strap
