Ossur Formfit Shoulder Brace Sling is designed to provide immobilisation following shoulder injury and surgery. It offers a streamlined fit, gives a sporty look, and excellent comfort and ease of use to its users. The sling features quick-release buckles for easier application and removal and is constructed of breathable material.

Fitting Instructions

Place the forearm into the Sling at a 90° angle, seating the elbow snugly in the corner pocket of the Sling and the thumb through the thumb loop.
The thumb loop can be repositioned, and the installed elbow pillow can be removed, if necessary, to improve the fit and comfort.
Close the top flap to secure the Sling.
Place the adjustable Shoulder Strap over the opposite shoulder and fasten it to the Sling via the quick-release buckles.
Position the shoulder strap pad where it is most comfortable.
If the strap is too long, remove the alligator clip, trim the strap to length, and re-attach the alligator clip.
If necessary, adjust the Shoulder Strap from the front or back.

Immobilization

Locate the pocket on the side of the Sling facing towards the body. Connect the Immobilizer Strap to the buckle located in the pocket.
Pull the Immobilizer Strap around the back and feed it through the loop located on the elbow end of the Sling.
Pull the Immobilizer Strap back in the opposite direction and fasten it snugly to itself with the alligator clip.
If the strap is too long, remove the alligator clip, trim the strap to length, and re-attach the alligator clip.

Offloading Strap

To use the Offloading Strap, feed it through the O-ring behind the opposite shoulder, pull back in the opposite direction, and fasten it snugly to itself with the alligator clip.
Pass the Offloading Strap underneath the opposite arm and secure using the O-ring above the affected wrist.
If the straps are too long, remove the alligator clip, trim the strap to length, and re-attach the alligator clip

Cleaning and Care

Hand wash using a mild detergent and 30 °C (86°F) cold water.
Hang to dry.
Do not put the device in a washing machine or dryer.
