How to Apply Ossur Knee Support Brace?

1. To start, first sit down with your knee bent to around 90 degrees. Place the brace on your leg with the hinges on the side of your knee so they points straight ahead. The hinge should be positioned above the centre of your knee.
2. Fasten the strap below the knee first. Feed the strap through the slot and attach the hook-and-loop strap.
3. Attach the lowest strap.
4. Next fasten the strap above the knee.
5. Lastly attach the top strap clip.
6. All Straps should feel firm, yet comfortable.

How to Adjust Ossur CTi Mission Knee Brace?

1. Use any combination of the Condyle pads supplied to widen or narrow the width of the brace at the knee.
2. Control the strap length by adjusting the medial/inside hook-and-loop strap end.
3. The hinge absorbs shocks and forces on the knee, with extension stops available for 5–10°, 10–20° and 20–30°.
4. Match the letter on the extension stop insert with the letter on the inside of the hinge for the correct fit.
5. Tibial wedge pads can be installed to fill in any gaps around the tibia and achieve the desired fit.
6. To add a wedge pad, pull the lower frame liner away from the brace frame and connect the wedge pad as needed (medial, lateral or both) to the liner using the hook fastener.
7. Fine tune the wedge pad position until your brace fits snugly against the tibia.

How to Remove CTi Knee Brace?

• To remove the brace, undo each strap
• Ensure to touch the hook-and-loop tab back onto the strap.
• This will make it easier when fitting the brace next time and will prolong the life of the straps.

How to Replace Ligament of Mission Knee Brace?

1. First remove the bottom screw off the hinge using the provided tool.
2. Pull out the lower frame.
3. Slide down the hinge housing.
4. Remove the upper screw to set the ligament free.
5. Replace it.
6. To reassemble, just repeat the steps in the opposite order.

How to Clean CTi Mission Knee Brace?

• Hand wash using mild detergent and water.
• Air dry only.
• Inspect the brace for obvious signs of wear and fatigue.
• If brace is used in salt water or chlorinated water, rinse well and air dry.
