- Belt length comes in sizes Small - XX-Large.
- Measure the circumference horizontally around the body in line with the stoma.
- If there is no hernia, measure standing in line with a stoma.
- If herniated, the measurement should be made while laying on the back (supine position) after 5 minutes and standing.
- If laying measurement falls between sizes, go to the next larger size.
- If standing measurement falls between size, go to the next smaller size.
Width Choices:
- Choose the smallest possible width based on opening size and hernia size.
- This product has a width of 4"
- Measure a hernia from bottom to top. It is typically only necessary to capture 80% of a hernia.
