North Coast Medical Preformed Anti-Spasticity Hand Based Ball Splint maintains a comfortable, neutral position of the hand, preventing finger and wrist flexion while supporting the palmar arch. This pre-formed splint is ideal for positioning a spastic hand and preventing tendon damage and shortening. For secure positioning, a padded hand strap is riveted. The splint is made of splinting material that is 1/8" thick and can be adjusted and molded with a heat gun or by softening the material by immersing the splint in 160 degrees Fahrenheit (71 degrees Celsius) hot water for a custom fit to the user.
