How to Use Medline Digital Thermometer?

• Choose the preferred measuring method
• During a measurement, the current temperature is displayed continuously
• The «°C» or «°F» symbol flashes during this period
• If the signaling tone sounds (beep-beep-beep 10 times) and the «° C» or «° F» is no longer flashing, this means that the thermometer is ready for reading
• To prolong the life of the battery, turn it off after use by pressing the operating button briefly. Otherwise, the thermometer will automatically turn off in about 10 minutes

Safety Instructions:

• Suitable exclusively for measuring body temperature
• The minimum measurement time is required; there are no exceptions
• Therefore, do not remove the thermometer until the signaling tone [beep] sounds
• Contains small parts (battery, etc.) that children can swallow. Never leave children unattended around the thermometer
• Protect the thermometer from hitting and striking
• Avoid ambient temperatures above 60 °C /140 °F
• Never boil the thermometer
• Clean the thermometer by wiping it with a dry cloth and sterilize the probe with isopropyl alcohol at 70%
• Don’t let the thermometer contact any chemical thinner. Not completely waterproof
• Do not soak the LCD in water; only the probe is waterproof
• Do not use the device if you think it is damaged or if anything appears unusual
• Do not store this thermometer in direct sunlight or extreme temperature or humidity conditions
• Do not use this thermometer in the immediate vicinity of devices with strong electromagnetic fields
• Batteries and electronic instruments must be disposed of in accordance with locally applicable regulations and not with domestic waste
