Medline Avant Deluxe Sterile Gauze Sponges are designed to absorb blood and other fluids as well as clean wounds. They are made of unique rayon and polyester blend to provide improved strength and absorbency. These non-woven sponges have increased wicking ability as well as less lint as compared to the traditional woven sponges. Their increased material weight helps to provide a more efficient sponge than the traditional Avant line by reducing the number of sponges that have to used for each procedure.
