How to set up a Med-E-Lert Pill Dispenser?

1. Insert the batteries: Turn the unit around and open the battery lid. Insert the batteries. *Replace the batteries after 90 days of use (make sure batteries are all the same brand).
2. Open the device: Place your index finger towards the top inner opening, and with your thumb, press against the tab in a pinching motion until the lid releases.
3. Select your time preference (Optional): The unit comes in a 24-hour format. Press and hold buttons 2 & 3 together to change to AM/PM format.
4. Set your time: Press and hold button 1 until hours blink, use buttons 2 and 3 to increase and decrease the hours. Select button 1 to move to minutes, and repeat the process. Press and hold button 1 to exit the setup.
5. Setting up alarms: For alarms A1 - A6: press and release button 1, and use buttons 2 and 3 to change the hours. Press 1 again to proceed to minutes, and repeat the process for all alarms. To exit the alarm setup, continue to press button 1 until the current time is displayed.
6. Selecting alarm tone: Press and hold buttons 1 & 3 together for 3 seconds to change the alarm tones. Each alarm has a different sound and pitch. You can toggle between 3 tones and silent mode.
