McKesson Geri-Care Omeprazole Magnesium Capsule works differently from other frequent heartburn products by stopping acid production at the source and it is recommended to be used once a day (every 24 hours), every day for 14 days. The omeprazole is for adults (18 years and older) with frequent heartburn two or more days a week and it is not intended for those who have heartburn infrequently, one episode of heartburn per week or less, or for those who want immediate relief of heartburn. It is delayed-release capsules and latex free.
