How to use Maddak Autodrop Eye Drop Guide?

Open Autodrop

1. Open Autodrop. Loosen cap from bottle, but do not remove completely.

Place the keyhole slot

2. Place the keyhole slot around the base of the bottle neck.

Close the Autodrop

3. Close the Autodrop. Do not force the bottle nose into Autodrop, it should close easily.

Hold down lower eyelid

4. Hold down lower eyelid. Place Autodrop® over the eye with the lip of the Autodrop against the cheek.

Tilt head backwards

5. Tilt head backwards, look through pin-hole towards the light.

Squeeze bottle gently

6. Squeeze bottle gently to allow prescribed drops to fall into the eye.

7. Open Autodrop and replace top on eye drop bottle.

Squeeze bottle gently

8. To clean Autodrop remove eye drop bottle and wash Autodrop in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

What to do when eye drop bottle gets empty?

When an eye drop bottle is discarded remove Autodrop and clean thoroughly before fitting to the new bottle
It may be used on more than one type of eye drop at the same time but if you suffer from more than one eye complaint we recommend that you use a separate Autodrop for each type of eye drop
For clinics and hospitals: It may be autoclaved on a low-pressure cycle for 30 minutes. Release clip to allow moisture to evaporate. It can also be cleaned in sterilizing fluid. Rinse and dry thoroughly
