Inogen At Home Replacement Inlet Filter protects the concentrator from airborne contaminants. It is located on the backside of the top of the concentrator. Its life expectancy is 5 years +/- and may require a tool of removal and insertion of the new filter. It should be cleaned at least weekly and replaced when non-functional. It is not intended for the user to change this filter, as it is tightly seated on the concentrator, but is possible if necessary. The filter must always be in place at the top of the concentrator during operation. Concentrator will indicate a low priority error for "service needed" at time of necessary replacement.
