How to Remove HyTape Zinc Oxide Waterproof Medical Tape?

Usually, medical tapes for wounds fall off on their own within 7 to 10 days. If it does not come off within ten days, consult your medical care team before taking it off yourself. In case you are told to remove the tape on your own:

1. Put baby oil around the tape edges, and let it soak in for easier peeling off.
2. You can also rub alcohol to reduce pain while removing medical tape. Avoid alcohol in case of an open wound.
3. Put a lukewarm washcloth and place it over the tape for about 10-15 minutes. Slowly peel the tape back. Rewarm the washcloth if the tape is still sticky.
